Boardsmanship: Inclusive & Accessible

Users learn about responsibilities as a member of a Board of Directors or advisory committee and accommodations that help members participate successfully and be included. Designed for people with disabilities and/or limited literacy, the workbook incorporates a straightforward decision-making method, THINK–PLAN–DO, to assist anyone interested in contributing to their communities by joining a governing group or committee. This booklet will help any community member understand how to become a better member of nonprofit boards and committees.
